About HeroCentral

I have been working in the creative art and literary fields for over fifteen years, ten years professionally. Hero Central is the culmination of all those efforts to date. My years through high school, art school, teaching community art classes, and my years of freelance work here in Georgia and abroad had prepared me to run my own art studio, Quasar Realm Studio, start a non-profit art & education organization , GIRAFNetwork, and help host a zine/small press convention running three years now, Zine-a-polooza!Con. From all these efforts, I have helped to form the H2Club , How-To Club, which acts as a vehicle for the lectures of the Art Awareness in Education program of GIRAFNetwork, Inc. I have spoken at SCAD in Savannah recently on a small press publishing panel at their last year's zine convention. H2Club is connected to GIRAFNetwork as a way to administer their ArtJams for Art & Literature they hold every other month. Everyone is welcome to join the artjams as well as attend one of the lectures where H2Club will be speaking, like at Momocon 08.
